The City of Parkland is proud to announce the return of our annual Farmer's Market sponsored by Mercantil Commercebank.
Customers will be able to purchase items such as fresh and organic
vegetables, fruits and herbs, beautiful flowers, delicious breads,
pastries and other baked goods as well as a variety of gourmet foods
such as jams, honey, dips, sauces, fresh pasta, cheese and pickles. Our
market is also dog friendly so don't forget to visit our pet vendors as
well.
Be sure to pick up your free shopping bag at the Mercantil Commercebank booth and sign up for their hourly cash raffle. Other activities will include a free bounce house for the kids, face painting and kids' zone. Parking will be off Ranch Road. Take the Sawgrass West to University Drive. Take a right (North) on University Drive and then make a right on Holmberg Road. When on Holmberg Road the Farmer's Market will be on the left hand side. From the South: Take 441 North to Holmberg Road. Make a left at Holmberg Road and head west about 2 miles. The Farmer's Market will be on the right hand side after the 2nd turnaround. The
City of Parkland announces its annual Home Decorating Contest for
Parkland Residents. On December 12, 2013 judging will take place by City
Employees from 7:30pm-9:30pm. Think your home has the best seasonal
decorations? Be sure to fill out the official entry form on our website
at www.cityofparkland.org to enter your home for a chance to win dinner
for four at a local Parkland Restaurant. All applications must be
turned in by December 9th and online voting will take place on our
website as well.
